Amy is the newest member of the FAB family. Originally from Seoul, South Korea, a place known for its integration of cutting edge style blended with traditional beauty. Amy moved to Kingston 15 years ago and has been an active member of the local community ever since. In 2016, Amy graduated from St. Lawrence College’s Hairstyling program and is already an award winning stylist. Amy was awarded the Redken Elite Scholarship and the NP Group Beauty Supply Award because during her studies she displayed a dedicated work ethic, enthusiasm for for the profession, a positive attitude toward developing her artistic skill and a high level of expertise in both, product services and industry standards. This shouldn’t surprise you because Amy believes being a stylist is her destiny. Much like her mentor and FAB owner Jennifer Allen, Amy grew up around scissors and clippers in her Dads barbershop. She now follows in her father’s footsteps by pursuing her own career in the hair and beauty industry. Amy now looks to the senior stylists at FAB for guidance as she continues to develop her favorite techniques in men’s and women’s styles, as well as colour and perm treatments. Given her history and dedication to styling, Amy is sure to impress even the most particular clients. Sh is looking forward to learning more about the beautifying art of make-up application with resident FAB Esthetician Kristen Melo. When not in the salon Amy keeps busy by helping her husband Kevin at Choi’s Roll Sushi and by going on wild and wacky adventures with her two beautiful sons Ethan and Daniel.
